Teach Yoga to Children!
Teaching yoga to children is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever get!
The enjoyment and benefit you see them get from one just class is so profound, it's worth all the time and effort of the training - which is fun and life-changing in itself!
I want you to experience this joy that I, and dozens of our graduates, get from sharing yoga with kids, by guiding you through this course, step by step.
By the end of the course you will:
- Feel more than confident to teach a group children's yoga class
- Know how to plan, effectively structure and intuitively modify a class, appropriate to the kids
- Have a wealth of knowledge and a vast toolkit to draw upon, setting you up for being an excellent kids yoga teacher

I loved attending this course and would encourage those interested to attend. Helen's knowledge is inspiring and her passion for yoga is contagious! I have now applied for a 200 hour course as a result! I have learned so much that I can now pass on to children to help them create a toolbox of strategies for life!

Learn our method, teach your style
I designed this course to share my decade of experience in teaching yoga to children, with as many adults as I could, to get as many kids doing yoga as I could! This course brings together all my experience of teaching children in and out of schools, structured into a tried and tested teaching method, along with all the theory that is going to set you up as a confident teacher. You'll learn the proven teaching technique that I’ve developed over my career, an abundance of practical skills and the knowledge and theory behind what we do, to build upon a passion and motivation that will drive you to share the benefits of yoga with kids and young people!
How it works
Your journey to becoming a kids' yoga teacher starts before joining one of our course dates, with recommended reading and of course, a confident personal yoga practice.
Once on the course, there will be a mixture of theory, discussion, observation and practical role play, supported by myself and our course manual, which contains a wealth of useful teaching information and resources, which you can refer to for years to come!
Join a growing community
On successful completion of the course you'll be welcome to join our Children's Yoga Teacher Directory site, and join a growing supportive community of kids' yoga teachers! See our current directory here, where you could be added!
You'll be included, if you wish, in a private Facebook group, where our teachers stay in touch, share ideas and ask questions.
Have any more questions? Ask me here, in the Teach Real Yoga to Kids Facebook Community.
Theoretical & Practical
Our course raises the bar in teaching yoga to children, and includes theoretical subject areas that many Children’s Yoga Trainings don't! Such as, child brain development, anatomical development - and how this affects the yoga you will teach them, plus child psychology and it's impact on your interaction with your class.
But the majority of the course is made up of fun, interactive, practical sessions and examples, in teaching real yoga to kids! In the practical sessions you’ll learn through practise, in a safe, loving space. You’ll make friends for life, as you work, learn, plan and teach together.
Real Yoga for Children
At Class Yoga, we're firm believers that yoga does not need to be
fluffed up with stories, pictures and an abundance of games, but that children gain more from a
real yoga experience. And I know that it works! I will show you how a more traditional yoga approach can be even more engaging than using stories.
We cover appropriate yoga asana and pranayama for children, mindfulness techniques and relaxation, yoga games, music and chanting, behaviour management and much more. Yes - we do include singing, games and partner poses - they certainly have their place, when used intentionally and appropriately to what the children need.

A really good course with a balance of theory and practical. Each day was engaging and interesting and helped shape me in the way that I deliver yoga.
