Last week I talked to you about 3 of the magic ways that great children’s yoga is able to balance energy levels – to leave pretty much all kids feeling calm and relaxed by the end (when taught right!).
One of the main reasons I love sharing yoga with children so much, is the incredible effect it has on balancing their energy levels and helping kids calm down.
The Summer Holidays are here, or almost upon us! It’s an exciting yet busy and tiring time for teachers, kids and parents, so make sure you are balancing out all the activity and excitement with some time to stretch, breathe and relax.
With all the outdoor activities, plus all the excitement of nearing the summer holidays, that many kids are getting right now, everyone is going to benefit from a chance to unwind!
It’s Summer time and this month and next I know there are lots of sports days happening and extra time for athletics and games outside! Whilst kids don’t need to warm up and cool down in the same way that adults do (they’re just so springy!), it’s still a great idea to get them into good habits.
